Advent Brass Band Sabbath

This week we are blessed to have Advent Brass Band joining us to lead our church in worship.

Advent Brass was formed in 1924 by educationalist W.J. Gilson. Today, the band is directed by Reynold Gilson, his grandson. For the past 95 years, the band has served churches, schools and the community by assisting in a variety of programs, concerts and marching parades. The band is highly regarded in the church and local communities and has also won and received many awards at Band Championships.

**Reynold Gilson was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in the 2020 Australia Day Honours for services to music.
